Clients will present to our offices with many different orientations pertaining to religion, spirituality and personal experiences that shape their view. This can be used as an asset of faith, resilience and support. During this training, illustrations of different experiences that clients encounter that may shape their own viewpoints on spirituality will be discussed. I will elaborate on such example’s experiences such as Near- Death Experiences, Out of Body Experiences, Shared Death Experience and Terminal Lucidity. These encounters are more common than many would have perceived.  Exploring avenues to support and understand the clients experience and psychosocial and emotional impact will be delved into. Exploring ways to support clients processing their unique spiritual beliefs and or transformative experiences will be a beneficial way to diversify and destigmatize their experiences. I will provide examples and practices to utilize to support and assist clients who experience spiritual experiences during therapeutic practices.
