Continuing Education for Mental Health Clinicians
*for clinicians, by clinicians*
(and those that want to be)
Professional Education Program
We've launched a specialized Professional Education Services Division
designed to help experienced mental health clinicians take their considerable skills to a higher level of excellence.
Our goal is to yield elite professionals who are capable of high-impact results.
We live in a complicated period of history where over 40 million Americans struggle with mental health conditions that make it difficult for them to cope with life’s challenges. Conditions ranging from depression, anxiety, and PTSD to schizophrenia and bipolar disorder have a paralyzing effect on far too many people.
We believe that it’s critically important to pay attention to the changing needs of our clients, and while it’s still important to increase training opportunities for therapists who want to fulfill their New York State continuing education requirements, it’s equally important to raise the bar for those who have been in the field for a while and would like to bring their skills to a higher level of excellence.
Our training sessions are conducted by fully licensed specialists and/or experts who know the business, and who are eager to share their knowledge! This is one of the many ways that Counseling Services of Long Island continually expands
its services to advance mental health.
